                 You’ve created and funded your first bookmaker account, great job!. Now you’re probably looking around and seeing lots of odds, events, and markets. .At first, all of this can feel overwhelming, but once you understand how a bookmaker site is organised, it becomes simple.

In this lesson, you’ll break down the structure of a bookmaker website step by step so you can confidently find any bet you want.

🧱 The Primary Structure of a Bookmaker

Almost every bookmaker website or app can be broken down into a few simple, repeatable parts.
Understanding these parts will make navigation much easier:

1. Game Type – Most bookmakers have separate sections for sports betting and casino games. Always make sure you’re in the sports betting section.
2. Sports – Inside the sports section you’ll see a list of sports. Click on any sport, for example, Football (sometimes called Soccer).
3. Countries – After clicking a sport, you’ll see a list of countries or tournaments where that sport is played. For example, under football you might click England.
4. Tournaments – When you click on a country, you’ll see the tournaments within it. For England, that could be the English Premier League. (Some tournaments like the FIFA World Cup stand alone.)
5. Fixtures / Events – When you select a tournament, you’ll see all the upcoming matches or events. For example, Chelsea vs Fulham.
6. Scoreboards – Clicking on an event will bring up its scoreboard. Different sports show different scoreboards e.g regular time, first half, first set, 1–5 innings, etc.
7. Markets – Under each scoreboard you’ll find different markets (types of bets). In football, a popular one is the 1X2 (Moneyline) market. Others include Totals, Handicaps, Corners, Points, etc.
8. Outcomes – Every market has one or more outcomes you can bet on. For instance, in the 1X2 market you have Home Win (1), Draw (X), or Away Win (2).
9. Odds – Each outcome has its own odds. For example, the draw might be priced at 2.30.
10. Bet Slip – On modern bookmakers you’ll see your bet slip, the area where selected bets appear. Clicking on an odd adds it to your slip, where you can enter your stake and place the bet. Your bet slip usually shows pending, accepted, lost, and settled bets.
